58% of Louisianans approved of Bobby Jindal in 2010 while
only 34% disapproved, but in 2013 only 37% approve and 57% disapprove. This
downward slide is due to his stereotypical GOP colors as perceived by the
majority of people. In other words, the main thing he does is to help the rich
using the backs of the poor. Here are specific examples:

He is a hypocrite. He bragged about creating
jobs but got
rid of 4,500 jobs in 4
years.

He closed the C. Paul Phelps Correction Center
recently
without consulting local leaders and got rid of 250 jobs.
c.
He closed the correction center to send these
jobs to the
private sector and pay back his wealthy campaign donors.
d.
He campaigned against raising any taxes for any reason.
However, he now wants to eliminate State Income Taxes
and raise sales taxes
from 4% to 5.88%. This will not hurt
the rich but will really have a negative
impact on the poor.

Jindal announced that Louisiana would stop the
Medicaid
hospice program in February 2013. Poor Jindal, intense
public pressure made him
scrap his plans to stop end-of-
life help to the poor.

LSU will lose $122 million in Medicaid payments
and the
rates for treating Medicaid payments will decrease 10%.

Jindal wants to take money dedicated to public
schools to
send to religious schools that teach creationism.

He changed teacher evaluation to the point where
it is
almost impossible to get tenure. For example, 50% of a
teacher’s rating
is directly related to student performance
and improvement. Consider these
points:

What about teachers who have the cream-of –the
crop?
They are already at the top, so how can their
performance improve to the extent needed to trigger
tenure?
