Dubya: Budget Cuts Can't Hurt Poor

And, just how do my budget cuts affect the lives of the poor? They already have little health care, shoddy homes, starvation diets, no jobs, and no security. They are used to this standard of living. They won't notice having less of what they already don't have.

However, and think about this, if the rich suddenly had to do without, they would miss what they already have plenty of.

Bottom line: Budget cuts should come at the expense of the poor, because they won't even notice it.
