If our drugs are so safe, how do you explain Vioxx, Redux, and many others that underwent our rigid safety tests run by the FDA?

Dubya, FDA, and GOP respond, You naysayers say the whole answer is because of the millions of moola we get in donations from drug makers. That has nothing to do with it. We would do the same if they did not line our pockets with plenty cash. We do this, because we really, really care. Now to answer your specific questions: It is similar to some years ago when oil was in short supply, causing the prices to skyrocket overnight. However, when there was plenty oil, it took months for the prices to drop. When criticized, an oil tycoon said, "The little people just don't understand how our economy works. " That is your answer.
