Capital One Sets The New Standard for Credit Cards

Hats off to Capital One for an easy way to brush off many time-consuming calls from customers who want to talk to a person as opposed to only hearing recordings.

Their Customer Service number is 1-800-955-7070, but the menu never gives a choice to talk to a person. You have to choose something else from the menu in order to talk to Customer Service. How many people run through the menu many times thinking they simply missed the "real people" option, get fustrated, and hang up?

I wonder if someone got a bonus for thinking up this little labor-saver?
